AEW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling are teaming up for a joint pay-per-view - Forbidden Door! It’ll be held at Chicago’s United Center on Sunday, June 26th.

New Japan President Takami Ohbari was on hand for the announcement during last night’s Dynamite, alongside Tony Khan…and so was New Japan’s Jay White, who was introduced by Adam Cole.

Cole will face New Japan’s Tomohiro Ishii in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament qualifier on Friday’s Rampage.

Another New Japan star, Minoru Suzuki, wrestled a match during last night’s tapings for Dark.

The AEW Championship picture heading into Double or Nothing appears to be crystal clear.

CM Punk beat Dustin Rhodes on last night’s Dynamite. After the match, AEW Champion Hangman Page came out for a staredown with Punk.

Also last night, Kyle O’Reilly beat Jungle Boy to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Dr. Britt Baker returned to action in her hometown and won an Owen Hart qualifier over Danielle Kamela.

Darby Allin beat Andrade El Idolo in a Coffin Match.

Hook won his Dynamite debut over Anthony Henry. After the match, Danhausen challenged Hook to a match.

The Blackpool Combat Club beat Brock Anderson, Dante Martin & Lee Moriarty. Jon Moxley pinned Martin with the Paradigm Shift.

Wardlow beat The Butcher.

Sammy Guevara agreed to give Scorpio Sky a TNT Championship match in a ladder match on next week’s Dynamite.

(STINGER: Impact)

Tonight’s Impact is the last stop before Saturday night’s Rebellion pay-per-view.

Bullet Club’s Jay White, Chris Bey, and the Good Brothers vs. Honor No More’s Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Kenny King, and Vincent.

The Impact Tag Champs Violent By Design vs. Decay in a non-title match.

X-Division Champ Trey Miguel & Laredo Kid vs. Speedball Mike Bailey & Ace Austin

Before The Impact has Rich Swann & Willie Mack vs. Heath & Rhino.


The NXT UK Tag Team Titles are on the line today. Moustache Moutain defends against Oliver Carter & Ashton smith in a two-out-of-three falls match.

Also on today’s episode…a Back Alley Brawl between Sam Gradwell and Kenny Williams.

The Sandman will be part of MLW’s Kings of Colosseum TV taping in Philadelphia on May 13th.


One more New Japan note…Hiromu Takahashi vs. YOH has been added to the Wrestling Dontaku card coming up on May 1st.
