There’s a new Ring of Honor World Television Champion. Samoa Joe took the title from Minoru Suzuki in the main event of last night’s AEW Dynamite.

It’s the first time in over 15 years Joe has held ROH gold.

After the match, Joe was attacked by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and the debuting 7-foot 3-inch former pro basketball player Satnam Singh, who signed with AEW last September.

Jonathan Gresham will defend the ROH World Championship on Saturday night’s AEW Battle of the Belts II special…against Dalton Castle.

Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus are still the AEW Tag Team Champions. They turned away the challenge of reDRagon on last night’s Dynamite.

Captain Shawn Dean got another win over MJF. He beat him via count-out after Wardlow showed up and scared off MJF.

Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs beat Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland. Hobbs pinned Lee with a spinebuster after Taz reached in from ringside to grab Lee’s foot.

Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager beat Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz. Garcia pinned Kingston after Jericho hit in the back with a bat.

CM Punk beat Penta Oscuro.

Marina Shafir beat Skye Blue.

Jamie Hayter and Toni Storm will meet in the first round of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. No date was announced.

AEW is promoting that Tony Khan will have another “huge” announcement on next Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Today’s NXT UK has A-Kid vs. Teoman.

Plus, Joe & Mark Coffey vs. Dave Mastiff & Jack Starz.

NXT’s Raul Mendoza has a new ring name. He’s now going by Cruz Del Toro.

(STINGER: Impact)

Tonight’s Impact has…Jonathan Gresham vs. Rocky Romero…Steve Maclin vs. Alex Shelley…JONAH vs. PCO…and Deonna Purrazzo will host another Champ Champ Challenge.

Before The Impact has one-half of the Knockouts Tag Champs Madison Rayne vs. Jessie McKay.

The MLW National Openweight Championship is on the line on tonight’s Fusion. Alex Kane defends in a 4-way against Myron Reed, ACH and Puma King.

Also on the show: TJP vs. Matt Cross…and Holidead vs. Shazza McKenzie.

Japan’s ZERO1 promotion says Shinjiro Otani underwent “successful” spinal surgery on Wednesday and has been transferred to a hospital for further treatment. But there’s no update on his outlook after an in-ring mishap this past Sunday left him unable to move his arms or legs.

(STINGER: New Japan)

Juice Robinson says he is leaving New Japan after his contract expires at the end of the month. And he sounds like he’ll be stepping away from pro wrestling…at least for a little while.

In Japan…multiple Joshi promotions are coming together Friday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Korakuen Hall with the Women’s Pro Wrestling Dream Festival.

New Japan and All Japan are holding a joint show at Korakuen on Saturday.
