(STINGER: Impact)

Tonight’s Impact Wrestling is promising the fallout from last Saturday’s Against All Odds show - including what it’s going to do about Don Callis FIRING Sami Callihan, who is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.

Also tonight, Satoshi Kojima goes one-on-one with Rhino, who’s one half of the Impact Tag Champs. If Kojima wins, he and Eddie Edwards get a shot at those tag titles.

X-Division Champion Josh Alexander has a non-title match against Madman Fulton.

Plus, TJP vs. Black Taurus...Tenille Dashwood vs. Rachael Ellering...and the Impact in-ring debut of Steve Maclin, formerly Steve Cutler in WWE’s Forgotten Sons.

Also today, Impact is promising the official announcement of “a dangerous stipulation match is in the works for Slammiversary”. That’s supposed to come today at Noon.

Today’s NXT UK has Sam Gradwell vs. Wolfgang. Plus, a mixed tag: Dani Luna & Flash Morgan Webster vs. Jinny & Joseph Conners.

AEW grabbed headlines Wednesday...announcing its first event in New York City.

It’ll be held on September 22nd at Arthur Ashe Stadium - the main venue for tennis’ U.S. Open. The stadium can seat around 20,000 fans. The show will be a special episode of Dynamite called “Grand Slam”

Tony Khan also announced Wednesday that the rescheduled date for Dynamite at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey will be a week earlier - on September 15th.

(STINGER: New Japan)

New Japan on Wednesday unveiled the schedule for a new set of stadium shows. Plans for a pair of them in May were derailed by COVID-19 issues in Japan.

First, the postponed Wrestle Grand Slam in Tokyo Dome will now take place on July 25th. The main event will be Shingo Takagi defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kota Ibushi.

New Japan formally canceled the second postponed stadium show from May at Yokohama Stadium.

Instead, New Japan is now advertising Wrestle Grand Slam shows on back-to-back days - September 4th & 5th - at MetLife Stadium in Saitama.

Ring Of Honor also made an announcement Wednesday about some upcoming live events.

It’ll return to Philadelphia and the 2300 Arena - the former ECW Arena - for two Glory By Honor shows on back-to-back nights...August 20th & 21st. Both shows will be streamed live on HonorClub.

The main event on Night 1 will see Rush defend the ROH World Championship against Flip Gordon.

Rush is also scheduled to be in action on Night 2 - tagging with Dragon Lee against Bandido and Rey Horus.

TWO tickets to ROH’s upcoming Women’s Championship Tournament were handed out Wednesday...to Mandy Leon...and Nicole Savoy. Maria Kanellis said Savoy was selected after ROH fans overwhelmingly asked for her to be part of the tournament.

ACH announced Wednesday he’s retiring from professional wrestling. He offered no details on the reason behind his decision. ACH most recently wrestled for MLW.
