(STINGER: Impact)

The Kenny Omega era begins on tonight’s Impact Wrestling.

Also on the show - Ace Austin gets his rematch for the X-Division Title against the new champ Josh Alexander.

Former Knockouts Champ Taylor Wilde returns to the ring against Kimber Lee.

Plus, an appearance by W. Morrissey - the former Big Cass.

AEW is teeing up a huge show for next week’s Dynamite.

We got the final hype last night for the Blood & Guts match between The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle.

Also announced for next week - Kenny Omega and MT Nakazawa vs. Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston. Mox and Kingston had to threaten to break Omega’s leg last night to get Don Callis to agree to that match.

By the way...The Forbidden Door between AEW and New Japan has opened once again. Yuji Nagata will challenge Moxley for the IWGP United States Championship...ON Dynamite...in two weeks.

Cody Rhodes returned to Dynamite last night, and beat up QT Marshall...putting QT in a Figure Four on TOP of the Nightmare Family’s tour bus. Cody and QT will meet next week.

The brawl between Cody and QT came right after Marshall, Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow beat Dustin Rhodes, Billy Gunn and Lee Johnson. Marshall pinned Johnson...after a big assist from Anthony Ogogo’s devastating right hand.

Also announced for next week, a 4-Way Tag Team Match to decide the next challengers for the Young Bucks’ tag team titles. It’ll be SCU vs. Jurassic Express vs. the Varsity Blondes vs. The Acclaimed.

The Bucks beat Matt and Mike Sydal in a non-title match last night.

The show opened with an upset. Hangman Page - the #1 ranked singles wrestler in AEW - was pinned by Brian Cage.

Darby Allin is still the TNT Champion. Dark Order’s 10 got Allin in his Full Nelson, but Allin kicked off the corner turnbuckles and rolled up 10 to escape with the win. After the match, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky attacked Allin and Sting. Sky specifically targeted Sting’s knee.

Orange Cassidy used a microphone to add some extra pop to his Orange Punch...and pinned Penta El Zero Miedo.

Kris Statlander beat Penelope Ford. Later, things got worse for Kip Sabian...as he was brutally attacked backstage by Miro.

Tony Khan was asked about the NHL’s new broadcast deal with Turner Sports...and what it could mean for Dynamite’s spot on Wednesday nights.

(STINGER: New Japan)

New Japan is in Kagoshima for a second straight day...headlined by the return of Kota Ibushi.

On Wednesday’s show...Roppongi 3K pinned Yoshinobu Kanemaru to retain their Jr. Tag Titles...then, turned their attention to the other half of the team - the Jr. Singles Champ El Desperado.

YOH vowed to take the title from Despy at the Wrestling Dontaku show on May 4th...and then, defend it against his partner SHO.

Also on Wednesday’s show, Toru Yano conquered EVIL in a Creation Of Darkness Match to retain the provisional KOPW 2021 title.

A quick reminder that Pro-Wrestling NOAH has a big show happening today - “NOAH The Glory”.

We could learn a lot about Aoife Valkyrie on today’s NXT UK. She’s taking on Meiko Satomura.

Also on the show, Gallus vs. Eddie Dennis, Primate and T-Bone...and the debut of Rohan Raja. He’s going up against Teoman (TAY-o-mahn).

The Raw Tag Team Champions - AJ Styles and Omos - finally resurfaced for the first time since they won the titles at WrestleMania. They appeared on Wednesday’s episode of The Bump...and said they will appear on next Monday’s Raw.

On last night’s MLW Fusion…FILTHY Tom Lawlor beat Marshall Von Erich. Lawlor attacked Marshall’s knee to the point that Marshall lost consciousness.

Earlier, Ross Von Erich pinned Dominic Garrini. Also, Bu Ku Dao beat Hijo De LA Park.

Salina De La Renta was in Park’s corner...and after the match, MLW cameras showed her with a bag over her head...being led to a waiting car by a man in a mask.
